Living in Tigard, we get to enjoy the beauty of more than 600 acres of parkland and natural areas, along with 16 miles of trails through our greenways. But every now and then, nature can pose concerns for public safety and infrastructure.

Living Next to Nature is a collection of documents and information that explain the city’s response when nature conflicts with the urban environment in the City of Tigard, including our response to hazardous trees and beaver management.

In our Trees in Tigard section, you’ll also find information on what do to if a tree falls in your neighborhood.
