The Fiscal Year 2026-27 (FY27) application period for calendar year 2026 closed on February 12, 2026. Below are the details for two grant application options: Community Events and Social Services.

Community Events Grant

The Fiscal Year 2026-27 (FY27) application period opened January 1, 2026 and closed at end of day (midnight) February 12, 2026.

Each year, Tigard sets aside a portion of the operating budget to assist agencies with events that create a greater sense of community and Tigard identity for all Tigard community members. Community Events grant awards this year will be focused on events that draw or promote tourism to the City of Tigard. 

Award of funds is determined during the annual budget process. Once the budget is adopted in June 2026, awardees will receive notification of their funding from the city.

Social Services Grant

The Fiscal Year 2026-27 (FY27) application period opened January 1, 2026 and closed at end of day (midnight) February 12, 2026.

Each year, Tigard sets aside a portion of the operating budget to assist agencies whose work aligns with that Social Service Grant Program priorities. This year the funding priorities focus on immigrant and refugee resources, healthcare, and hunger. Due to funding constraints, grant award amounts for Social Services will be limited, and total funding available will be approximately $35,000.

Award of funds is determined during the annual budget process. Once the budget is adopted in June 2026, awardees will receive notification of their funding from the city.
