Pop Up in the Park Graphic Image for July 12 at Summerlake Park. Three sets of photos of children playing outdoors. Parks & Rec and the Library partner to bring you Pop Up in the Park! Carl Winters, also known as the Kalimba King, will have us moving and grooving to jazz and pop-inspired music highlighting the sounds of African thumb pianos. Games begin at 3 PM, the music starts at 3:30 PM!

Program presented in partnership with Tigard Parks & Recreation and Friends of the Tigard Library.

Musical Performance starts at 3:30 PM
Ready-to-play sports, games, and crafts will also be available

The annual Festival of Balloons in Cook Park is a summer tradition. Dozens of balloons take flight in the early morning skies (weather permitting), while several events and activities provide fun for the entire family. Carnival rides, a 5K run, a car show and beer garden are among the festivities each year.
