Nature Walk: Fanno Creek

Let's Enjoy Tigard's many walking paths together!

Fanno Creek, Tigard Library to Bonita Park

Join us for a couple of hours in Tigard’s natural areas to revive your spirit with fresh air while learning about the importance of our natural areas. All walks are rain-or-shine, so please bring appropriate clothes for the weather as well as water and snacks.

Date: Saturday, May 2, 2026
Time: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Location: Tigard Library - 13125 SW Hall Blvd, Tigard, OR 97223
Walk Route: Tigard Library to Bonita Park, return along Fanno Creek
Walk Leader: Ken Barker

Enjoy a 2-mile walk on a new paved path through an open area that is being restored, then walk in a forest before Bonita Park.  Return on a path along Fanno Creek possibly seeing a colorful wood duck.

Meet at Tigard Public Library parking lot.  Your guide will be wearing a red vest and hat.
