Conversations About Life & Death

Death Café - Discussion Group

Death and dying aren’t often talked about, but they touch us all. Join us for a snack and conversation as we explore these themes in a relaxed and safe environment. Free of cost and all are welcome.

Death Café is an offshoot of the “Café Mortel” movement that emerged in Switzerland and France. It is not a grief support group or counseling session, but a group directed discussion with no agenda or objectives. The purpose of death café is to ‘increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives.

This event is hosted by the Tigard Senior Center.
