Tigard Police is hosting "I Can Do This!", a home safety class for children aged 8 to 11 years old.&nbsp;Parents (or a responsible adult) will join the kids for a 30 minute overview near the end of the class.</p><p>The purpose of this class is to provide children ages 8–11 with tools to stay safe at home when unsupervised. Children will learn about indoor and outdoor safety, first aid, emergency situations and much more. This knowledge will help parents feel at ease when work schedules conflict with non-school days.
