DESCRIPTION:<p>The Tigard Police Department, in partnership with Pride Recycling, offers a shred event on a periodic basis, which allows community members to securely dispose of paper documents containing personal information. A canned food donation for the St. Vincent de Paul food pantry is required.&nbsp;</p><p><strong><span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 0);">**NO PEDESTRIAN WALK-UPS / MUST REMAIN IN VEHICLE**&nbsp;</span></strong></p><p><strong>Date:</strong>&nbsp;Saturday April 25, 2025<br><strong>Time:</strong>&nbsp;9:00AM to 12:00PM&nbsp;or until trucks are full. Wait times typically decrease mid event.&nbsp;<br><strong>Location:&nbsp;</strong>Tigard City Hall&nbsp;parking lot (13125 SW Hall Blvd Tigard, OR 97223).<br><strong>Cost:</strong> a canned food donation is required. Details below.&nbsp;</p><p>First come, first serve until the shred truck is full. We cannot accept items for shredding ahead of time.</p><p><strong><span style="background-color: rgb(255, 255, 0);">*LIMIT: 2 standard paper grocery bags per car.</span></strong><br>A standard size is considered 12x7x17". Oversized bags will be considered two containers.&nbsp;Limits are needed to meet the demand for this free service.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What's Accepted:&nbsp;</strong><br>We will&nbsp;ONLY&nbsp;accept paper items.&nbsp;<br>Please remove garbage, binders, cardboard or anything else before you arrive. Please have your items ready for a quick drop off.
